A good day

Today Shannon had a sleep-in, and I got to wake her up. We strolled down to the street kitchen for breakfast and a coconut. After a short stop to get the new Grigri 2, we strolled around to Esher Wall, only to bump into Dan and Peter who caught a longtail 1 hour after we left. We did some really fun climbs, including the trip's first 6b. As it started raining we decided to take a shortcut, which is a cave through the mountain, and rappel on the exit. Head-torches and ropes came in handy. It was a really cool cave, dark, up to 20 meters tall, stalactites everywhere, and bats. To jungle-paths and two beaches later we arrived back in Tonsai just after dark. We sat down at the bar, had a beer, a massage, and dinner, and slacklined. Without leaving the bar. We finished the night at Peace & Love Bar's very last night party. They are closing for good now. The place was full of happy dancing people, a live band, and a DJ.
